Opening of Charitable Laboratory at Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s Martyrdom Day
Dera Bassi, May 27 (Mandeep Verma / Yogesh Rana) On the eve of Martyrdom day of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji at Gurdwara Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji at Anaj Mandi was opened by City Medical Store. It was inaugurated by Bhai Sher Singh, Head Granthi Gurdwara Manji Sahib Ambala. Bhai Amarpal Singh, Chief Sewadar of Gurdwara Anaj Mandi disclosed that Avtar Singh, the owner of City Medical had been offering to set up a laboratory at Gurdwara Sahib for a long time. We could not accommodate them due to construction work on Gurdwara Sahib. Now that the construction work of Gurdwara Sahib has been completed, the laboratory has been opened for the sangat on the occasion of Guru Arjan’s martyrdom day. He even said that the same kind of laboratories have also been opened in the past at Rajpura and Chamkaur Sahib. The laboratory which is commenced at Gurdwara Sahib will conduct daily tests at very low rates from 7 am to 10 am.
